updated hog picts and a question about the hogs

boaluvr123 Jan 17, 2005 05:21 PM

i finally got around to taking some picts of my hogs , more to come soon. i know i know , the lightings horrible, but u can still see how clean she is , nothing compared to that animal of john yocums a couple of threads down though. I stuck my male, who is probably 44-48 inches in length in w my female hogg , who is about 50-55 inches in length now. theyve seemed to be getting along pretty well. Last night i come in , and there is white splats , almost look like paint , on the bottom of the cage , it was pee , because it was like splats randomly around the cage , or little tiny specks on the bottom of the tank. what do u think this secretion is?

Well, first great snake you have there. Maybe not as nice as the one below, but definately second place on some of the nicest Hog Isles I have seen.

That "paint" was your male getting a little excited. They aren't to neat and clean when it comes to mateing, he is just shooting off sperm, lol.

john, very nice hog, maybe a few extra speckles but has more color than mine. is this a male or female. the Lemke female produces 1 real clean female per litter, strange but so far in 5 litters they have all been females. if this is a male we need to talk in a couple years. john yocum
