Hi I recently discovered that my friend jamie has a alligator snapping turtle, which isnt very well cared for, the love is there, but she isnt properly educated. She told me that shes had it for about a year and its shell is still only about 2" by 3" and the shell is starting to get soft. Is this due to a lack of calcium and vitamins? How can this be fixed? and how do turtles get calcium? (because you cant really dust a fish with calcium like you can a cricket for a lizzard) Please help me. Thank you
