But no dedicated arboreal setups..

The construction looked ok, but acrylic looks great when you buy it and then scratches way too easily.
A year or two from now, they won't look as good as when you bought them.
Can't beat glass for scratch resistance.
it depends on what he'll be using them for IMO. if he's going to use them for his uroplatus, i see any long term problems. the uroplatus species will not scratch the screen and there will be no abrasive substrate to rub up against it either.
I have three of their 90 gallon acrylic units. They came in about 1 week after I ordered them. Each cage took about 35 minutes to put together including sealing them with the cement that they give with the cage.
I have had them for about 2 months and have had absolutely no problems with them. The cages weigh about 35 pounds and I know that the equivalent in glass is about 125 pounds. That is enough for me right there that I would continue buying them.
Also, I think the clarity is much better than standard glass.
