OK, I got Guban(Goober) about a month ago now... and still all he does is hide. I gently poke him occasionally just to make sure he's ok, but I've only seen him come out on his own(or evidence of doing so) every 2 to 4 days. He seems fine whenever he's out, he runs around and climbs on everything, but he gets scared back under his hide pretty easily, which I'm pretty sure is a predatory response since he's not used to people looking at him/getting into his cage from above. I'm starting to worry about his nutrition a little though. He has a bowl of finch seed/juv. iguana diet as well as greens, but he barely touches them even when he is out, and by the time he comes out the greens are pretty dried up so I don't know how much moisture he's actually getting... I do occasionally find poop around, but it's been a few days again. Is he still adjusting or is it just winter? His temps are just fine, but I'm sure he can still tell it's winter. Any thoughts?
