My worst fears have been answered... dear god!

Thera Jul 04, 2003 11:38 PM

Ok all my first clutch eggs have hatched, I'm happy to report 13 healthy happy babies from that clutch.
Then yesterday morning I was shocked to discover something interesting in my incubator... one of the eggs from clutch two was pipping... 3 weeks ahead of schedule! I figured I must have switched it or something by accident when candling it early on. Just some freak thing... so I didn't worry about it.
But today... 5 more from the clutch are pipping' out!
HOLEY COW! I'm going to have 26 newly hatched beardies on my hands here! AHHHHHH!

babies babies everywhere.

I think this might be due to the fact that the first clutch was incubated for the first 3 weeks in the laing box in just a warm room and the second clutch has been in the incubator since seconds after being laid.

realizing this dvelopment my room now looks like a reptarium cage display or something. I've got enough of them setup now...
Luckily they all only cost me $4.00 each...
hehe I bought them all sued from a pet store looking to move some of their store use items :D
