I just thought I would say high to all the Dry folks from Loma Linda, California; home of the Biology of the Rattlesnakes Symposium. Over 60 talks are taking place over this 3-day symposium covering all aspects of rattlesnake biology, behavior, ecology, physiology, and venom research (including Dr. Sean Bush of Venom ER; real cool guy). Some of the world's most legendary herp people are attending; what a humbling experience! I have been blown away by the amount of research taking place in the area of Crotaline biology. Over 300 folks are attending this symposium and I am going to be the last speaker tomorrow; talking about conservation education programs for rattlesnakes. Next to couperi, rattlesnakes are my next favorite herp to work with and I have had an absolute blast in beautiful Loma Linda, California. I think we need to put together a Dry conference!!!
Take care, Rob
