Has anyone used space heaters to maintain entire rooms at say 84-88 degrees dropping a little at night instead of heat tape on one side of the tubs? I have heard of breeders doing this with large Burms and Retics with great success. Sean M. Kelly

yes.........
.....chest level at 82 usually all year....
upper shelves higher lower shelves lower temps..yes I use a fan and it still is a little warmer at top of room.....
...yes it gets to 79...yes it jumps to 88......
actually right now at night it gets down to 78 with 1 heater..so I use 2 when i get home from work and run it up to 86 or more for some hours of extra heat.....

basically...yes..it works.......(14 years)......
