Question on heating while gravid....

ajfreptiles Jan 18, 2005 07:22 AM

I was just wondering about heat or I should say the cool side during pregnancy? What do others think the best cool side temp is, and has anyone had experience useing higher or lower temps? What were the outcomes? What was final days POS, before she dropped? Andy

In our experiance it seems that our gravid females will spend all their time on the warm side and only venture to the cool side to get a drink or early in the evening for about an hour. We leave the hot spot at 90 and allow the other side to drop to about 76-80. Being in Southern California most of the year we have nice weather and allows us to do this with limited problems. HOpe this helps you with your issues....
