I feed mainly weeds--dandelion, sow thistle, clover, plantain, chicory, hawkbit, mallow, geranium, etc. I also feed prickly pear cactus once a week, and in the summer things like rose flowers, hibiscus, petunia, grape leaves, and mulberry leaves. I mix in salad-style hay (from Oxbox), too, but I'm not sure how much of that they actually eat. A weed-based diet is the best, but if you can't get weeds year round, you can feed store-bought greens. I'm not the one to ask about those, though, because I don't feed them and wouldn't want to steer you wrong on what to feed.

Sohni gave you a good answer as far as the natural diet. That is always the best way to go. If you absolutely can't get any weeds or flowers, then store-bought greens and vegies will have to do. Romaine lettuce, especially if it is organically grown, is good, endive, chicory (most stores have it, it looks like giant dandelion leaves,) grated or chopped up zuchini or other squash, beet or turnip greens in moderation, grated carrots in small amounts (there's a lot of sugar in carrots,) and occasional brassicas like broccoli and cauliflower. You can often find prickly pear cactus fruit in stores also depending on the season.
I personally am against feeding pelleted or man-made foods of any kind.
