A poo question

shandar5 Jan 18, 2005 12:03 PM

Our bearded dragon Molly poops everyday which is good but it seems to be surrounded by alot of fluid the poop itself is neither hard nor soft kinda in the middle. I was wondering if the fluid around the poop is normal.

Thanks for any responses.

you probably feed him carrots and lettuce. If so that why it is runny.

my dragons poo is the same way i do feed her romaine everyone says i should change to collard and mustard greens would that help?

collard and mustard greens are a better choice--they are more nutritious. Romaine is slightly better than iceberg--which should NEVER be given.

Beardie 'poo' will always have some 'water' around it--it is a sign of hydration. As long as the solids are well formed--not hard--all is ok.

check out www.beautifuldragons.com they have a great list of good health foods.
