I recently purchased an african sideneck from petco because i felt sorry for her. she has a number of abrasions on her shell. I've been using shell conditioner on her, i have the water temp at 75, i put a disolving sulfus block, as well as a disolving calcium block in the water, the tank is 75 gallons, and of course i have the UV light, a top on the tank, and a basking spot with basking bulb. The other thing that really concerns me (i noticed other people posted similar questions but i didn't see any answers) is that she tends to float around a lot. Her rear end is especially buoyant. I just got her on friday, and she's been eating a lot of minnows. She doesn't express interest in the floating sticks or shrimp though. I was wondering if i should be concerned or if there is anything else i should do. Thanks in advance for your help.
