Home Depot or Lowes or similar places sell sheet styrofoam for insulating walls...

cut it and make one.....

or go to a Pet shop and see if they have Fish Shipping boxes that may be the correct size to use the bottoms of to make the incubator taller......(I did this)......

Cool. Thank you but what do you use to put the pieces together?
Just glue?
Thanks very much

.......never tried.....

I used styrofoam shipping box bottoms.......they fit perfectly...

but last time I got some they were bigger across and didn't fit...so......try different pet shops for boxes...

even coolers......

any styrofoam box that is taller than the incubator bottom that came with the Hova-Bator......

.....as for creating?.......

........anyone know..?......

strofoam.....I would try drywall screws and duct tape......lots of duct tape would work....

glue?...don't know what type........smell.....and some may eat/disolve the styrofoam.....

.......

duct tape...the handyman's secret weapon........

and remember...if women don't find you handsome..at least they can find you handy.......*(Red Green.....Eh.....).....

LOL. Cool, thanks for the advice.
Take care,

haven't tried it yet but you can duct tape just about anything! Just have to make sure there isn't any of the sticky side exposed on the inside, it would be a real mess trying to unstick a hatchling. The hardest part will be cutting the foam without getting those clingy little styro balls all over!
Good luck!

to cut foam .....try a .......now I forget what my carpenter told me works best.......utility knife?......smooth and sharp.....might work.....I think he might have said that....

I am so definate......not.......

.........as for baby balls sticking to tape....I use the incubator with NO internal little boxes...my eggs are right under the heating elements....so I have to take them out of incubator as soon as they pip.......or they'll fry in the coils.....

.......works

Yep, frying snakes would be worst than stuck ones! I'll be using boxes - my eggs always seem to hatch while I'm on vacation. Don't want to come home to either fried or stuck babies!

Thanks for the knife tip, I probably would have used a serrated one from the kitchen!

ps if you hate snow (from another post) move to Florida! Is your daughter still down here? I got a pretty good daughter-in-law from Daytona.

Try the mfgr. Randall Burkey in Boerne, Texas.
He has a web site. Better yet get a bigger styro box.
