Yep, very normal. Notice that the black is only excluded from the big middle scale (some normals have black on the middle scale too). Black is all over the smaller belly scales on each side of the big middle one. Most of the morph bellies I've seen pictures of have black excluded from all or nearly all of all three belly scales. Some morphs apparently have normal bellies, but a lot of the morphs do have white bellies.

If you look at her side coloration right near the belly, In my Opinion Yellow bellies have an Extreme amount of blushing on the sides. But if you think YOURs is a YELLOW BELLY the breed it and prove US all WRONG, MOST of the YELLOW bellies that are on KINGSNAKE are NOT yellow belly(het IVORY) until they are proven anyway. I have one that IS and has been classified a Yellow belly but the FACT is until I prove it out to be HET IVORY I don't really have much, I paid 30.00 for mine and have been offered 7,000 from one guy and a pied from another NOW, I was also offered 1.1 spiders or a mojave this june, But I didn't want to wait until JUNE to get that stuff when I could breed the YELLOW BELLY.

But anyway here is a picture of the YELLOW belly I have. Look at it VERY close and you might figure out what makes a Yellow Belly a Yellow belly. Thanks DAVID

We've all seen your "yellowbelly" its getting old and doesn't look like a yellowbelly....where you are trying to prove that others are not yellowbellies when your's looks the same as theirs....

Other people don't try to HELP anyone out anymore. I am just trying to point someone in the right direction to finding a yellow belly. I didn't come on here to have LUKE and any other joe blow slam me. If you cannot see the differences in your Snake and My YELLOW BELLY then you never will. Thanks DAVID

You should send them pics or links of REAL yellowbellies...PROVEN yellowbellies...
IF yours actually proves out...go ahead and post it all day when someone asks...but until then...its not the best example of a yellowbelly so why confuse people even more?.....

LUKE you do not know what your talking about on this subject. I have always STATED that MINE is a TYPICAL Yellowbelly and has NOT been PROVEN YET, But it is better than or just like the proven lines...TRUE or FALSE? Here is a close-up and MAYBE NOW you will see the difference from the FerrisBueller's snake above.

You send these links and you SAY you cannot see that mine looks like the ones shown on them links....PLEASE....either your BLIND or a real IDIOT if you cannot tell that these snakes look very much the same. However NOT EXACT but then again not many ball python look just like one another. Besides I already told you that these people looked at this snake is Daytona and said it was a YELLOW BELLY. But you keep on saying that it doesn't look like one to you. If the ones that you sent links to are yelloe bellies then hell I probably have a half of dozen that look just like them. I know the links you posted are TRUE PROVEN YELLOW BELLIES, and mine will be soon without a doubt. Proof is in the puddin...just look at the colors...I spent months and months studying YELLOW BELLIES to make sure i didn't pass one up if I ran across one, I have found several that I believe to be YB's...I guess will see.

You chastize me for not liking the raping of the wild for Ball Python babies and say that its bad for my business to say so, yet you can call people "blind" or an "idiot"?

Ya, that's gotta be GREAT for business.

Why get so worked up about it? If YOU think its a yellow belly, then fine. Raise up a male and breed it to 15 females and prove the damn thing out. Why is that so hard? Males breed at 8-12 months in a lot of cases, and if you have so many, there should be NO reason to not produce any and prove all the doubters wrong.

Jeff...You didn't say anything about the raping of ball pythons in the wild. You stated that WE should buy your captive born babies verses the wild caught GARBAGE, That was a big difference in my opinion. I didn't attack YOU or YOUR character, I was just looking at your site to see what you had That I might want to purchase when I ran across that paragraph where you said all you had left was a few normal males and buy them instead of wild collected garbage!!! I am sure 1,000's of people do NOT think wild collected animals are GARBAGE. That is HOW this the REPTILE Business got STARTED isn't it. I just figured that maybe you didn't relize the way you worded it sounded like you think anything that comes from the wild is GARBAGE. I think WE need the NEW BLOODlines myself. But thats just me. GREAT year for Ball Pythons here with lots of Pastels hatched this season! I currently have 2 males that are going to be ready to go by September 20th, 2004 and I have 4.2 normals. Pastel males are $1,500 each. Male normals are $85 each and female normals are $150 each. All babies are guaranteed eating F/T rat fuzzies before they are even offered for sale!

**Edit Oct 12th, 2004: No more Pastels left for sale. I have 6 male normals left for $85 each. GREAT pets and you're supporting the captive-bred industry instead of wild caught garbage!

I guess it is really NONE of my business what he puts in his website I was just trying to saave him from getting slammed when someone that doesn't like that jumps on him hard.
