I have a couple of cobalts and was wondering about sexing...Are sexual characteristics a gradual thing, ie, you can notice larger toe pads was they are big enough or do they go through some type of puberty, ie, once they reach a certain age their toe pads change?
Thanks and sorry about being so long

It really depends on the individual frog. I have seen male tincs that did not display the overly large toepads as much as others. However, when you gain some experience, you will begin to notice the body type differences (females will be more robust and generally larger, even at an early age), and the toepad differences.

If you have some pics of your frogs, some people around here will probably be able to help out.
