I think your burm is more than enough for you to handle now. But maybe in like 30 years when you have the experience rich has...you will know the snakes you wish to keep as well as he knows his boids.

` Sorry, I've been off the boards for a few days.
` Cage is 6x3x2'. Anacondas are, 10', 8', and 6'. Boa constrictor is 7'. The tough old Ball is 5'.
` I only did this because I found critters who are suited to a community. I would never try it with just any animal. Nor would I try to make any snake adapt to a community. They must have temperament, and environmental needs suited to the community.
` If I find more animals who are suitable to a community, and whose health is known, I might add more. My priority is the critters, not the community.
` Just yesterday, up in the Marble Mountains, I turned over a log under which was a fence lizard, a Cal King and another Colubrid I think was a Garter. They were waiting for the sun, and co-existing peacefully.
` Please don't use my pix as an excuse to throw snakes together, on a whim. You will certainly regret it.

I'm just curious if there are any advantages to keeping your animals this way, and how this got started? You stated that you don't recommend throwing animals together on a whim, but what made you decide your animals needed to live together?

Do you find it easier to clean one cage instead of three? I just don't understand why you'd put your animals at risk, although you say you know them well... and my curiosity is killing me.

I will answer what I see. I do not believe there is an advantage, only difficulty. I believe Rich is doing this as a challenge and his interest in the communal living of snakes.
