around how old would a 8 to 9 inche black throat monitor be????

If that's including the tail,it shouldn't be more than a 2-4 weeks old.My little girl was that big when i got her.As small around as my pinkie finger.15 months later,she is almost 5' and a great pet monitor(I like to interact with all my reptiles).

Yes they do. Blackthroats are one of the fastest growing monitors you can buy. They can also make one of the best pets too as long as you ready to handle the size it's going to get and the cost it's going to take to feed it.

yeah im suppose to be recieving a baby about 8 or 9 inches and iv done my homework on the caging and houseing requirments and diet i just had a few questions about the monitors themselves. iv own large lizards before but this will be my 1st monitor im use to handling and careing for adult green iguanas
