A killer 2004 Christmas Mountains alterna....

Ric Blair Jan 18, 2005 11:42 PM

This is one of my favorite female Christmas mountain altrerna's from 2004. She is only about 7 inches long. She is extremely dark for such a small, and young snake. The parents were jet black with awesome orange. This snake should surpass the parents in beauty. I believe she will turn jet black with neon red/orange. Hope you like her...Ric Blair

Ric Blair Jan 19, 2005 10:49 PM

Hi Jon,

It is Boyden stock. I wish I could snap my fingers to see what this will look like as adult. Let me know when you take your Limpia Canyon female out of brumation and I will send you the male I caught last year on the breeding loan we talked about.
Thanks....Ric Blair

I really dig those red diamonds! But you may want to have that bulge checked out. Could be a too-mah. Probably on account of that Hiroshima live rock substrate. lol

That has to be one of the neatest alterna I have seen.

Rick, can you make a poster out of that? It will be amazing if
it grows up to be black with red or even a dark granite with red.

All I can say is wow...

I love those dark alterna with bright colors!
