I tried to get a decent picture of this heavenly event, but I don't have a telephoto lense....this is the best I could do...

it reminds me of so many of my python eggs every year.I wish that I had the luck with my eggs that I have with my boas.Thanks for the pic!

I'm bummed, there was a small cloud bank that was sitting in front of the moon. Rest of the sky was clear as could be.

OK, Charles, I officially don't like you anymore... Seriously, I teach Earth Science, and my students and I were all excited about seeing this eclipse. Instead, we got a band of rain... 
Oh, well, there's another one in November I'll try to catch. Nice shot!! I got pics 9 years ago of the solar eclipse we had. Now THAT was incredible.
