Sliders and other turtles

I was wondering if sliders and northern red bellies could be housed together. Do they have similar needs?

Yes they can. Just be mindful that the northern redbellies get huge and be prepared to have an eventual pond situation for them. I have seen older ones well over 15 inches in shell length.

Aren't northern red-bellied turtles protected over most of their range?

Yes they are.

Thanks for the information. I'll keep that in mind.
