Belly Heat

iiilovetooibs Jan 19, 2005 11:56 AM

I am planning or making a ball python rack. my question is what is the most efficient way to heat up the rack with a belly heat style. The from will be open with shelves to hold the tubs. The back with be covered with peg board. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

you might consider putting foil covered insulation on the back rather than pegboard.the air flow is not needed, especially if you have a cool room.i have designed a rack that holds three sizes of tubs 41,27, and 12qts.this is ideal for balls,as you can house hatchlings to adults in the same rack.i just made up a cut sheet as i'm going to make another rack,i have a cabinet shop cut the pieces then i wire and assemble.if your interested email me and i'll provide info.have fun!
