Are these good? Is there something better to use? Also, does anyone here use a waterfall or a fountain? I saw one at Petco the otherday, and was wondering if it could replace a drip.

they are OK for the ground species and the dwarf species but not for the larger ones are the aroboreal species. a drip is best for those.
the waterfall has bacteria (nitrostomus-the same as in fish tanks) that will grow rapidly and it breaks down the waste that gets in the falls and the dead crickets but this bacteria isn't good for any species that lives out of the water so you have to clean the falls every couple of days or daily depending on how often your pet decideds to "use" it as a bathroom(or crickets for "swimming"
)
so just stick with a drip/mist system
I had a custom waterfall in my Fischers cham cage, and he absolutely loved it, I didn't really have to mist my cage because he would just go and drink from it.
I don't buy those actual looking waterfalls because the flow is absolutely horrible after just a few days.. The clean is also bad.
What I did with mine was I got a dog bowl, pretty large, and a fish pump. One of those that sucks the water at the bottom, and it comes off the lip at the top, then i got a large flat rock and put it in there where the water flows and shazamm, waterfall. It's pretty easy to clean and my cham loved it. There will be a few crickets and such that get in the water and drown, but they're easy to clean up.
If you want i could get the name of the pump that I got, if you want to try it. I misted mine also, but he didn't drink it off the leaves or anything, this also serves as a place where he can get water on his own. Also, if your cham is small, put a little screen or something so he doesn't get in there and drown, Mine was a pretty big fellow and was too big to drown.
Good luck, Justin.

That sounds like a great idea. Yes, I would like the name of the pump if it's not an inconvenience. I think it would be fun to make my own waterfall. I'm having a really hard time keeping the humidity up, maybe that would help.
No problem, it was tons of fun for me and my gf also. But be sure to get a flat rock, or it will splash everywhere and the water will get all over the cage. Also, don't put plants directly on the rock or the waterfall, as they will change the direction and make the water leak out, causing massive floods(happend to me 2 or 3 times).
It's a Whisper in-tank filter. They are really awesome. I put mine inside the bowl so it would get sufficient water, some of my friends have stuck it to the side of the cage, but I use open-air habitats for my chams and not aquariums so that's impossible. Also, if it tends to fall forwards or backwards or anything, you can put twist ties thru the side of the cage, if it's open-air, and wrap it around the filter snug so it won't go anywhere.
Have fun =-)

Thanks a lot! I'm going to give it a try, I'll post pics when I do!
I cannot provide any 'real" input other than to say that you should follow the recommended time on this bulb. I had an experience where I suspect it may have temporarily hurt my Veileds eyes. I was running it about 12 hours a day and within about a week his eyes where obviously bothering him (eyes shut unless diturbed rubbing eyes etc). Others on the internet have had similar issues.
It may also have been the beginning of dehydration so i am not condeming this bulb and have just recently put it back into service (on a seperate timer)
So...I didn't follow the directions and did two things that got him back to health, my recomendation, if you get it follow the directions!
I got it, and I only have it on for two hours like the instructions/warnings say. I called Big Apple Herp and I was basically told to HEED THE WARNINGS!!! 2 HOURS MAX!!!!
