Check for local hobby shops that specialize in radio controlled vehicles. They use them for measuring engine temps but they are the same exact guns that we all use and for the same prices!

I think Radioshak had some but i would just order them from an online site that is trustworthy like LLL Reptiles or Reptile Depot, or pick it up a a reptile show if there is one coming up.... either way you will get a good one..there are some great small ones on the classifieds...

Sincerely,
ROse Hipskind

PS. A very very helpful bit of technology...

What is the model number ?
Someone was looking for them the other day and only found one for $30 @ Radio Shack.

I am at work now and wouldn't know, but that may be the one. When I was informed about it and purchased it, it was on sale for $20.
I think they only have the one model, and THEY didn't even know they had it! lol..
I had to bring in the ad I had and actually force them to look in every cabinet, downstairs, and through their stock lists until they finally found them.. lol

Take care, Joe

The model # (catalog #) is 22-325. It's a "Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer", and it's usually $49.99, but Radio Shack runs specials on them every now and then for $25. They're very reliable, and accurate! Here's a link to it on their website.
