Roach breeders

I have lobster roaches, but I am looking to get another kind of roach that is larger as well (orange headed or false death heads/discoids, or poss. any other larger one). Where can I find a reasonably priced breeder? Are they usually around $25 per doz?

Can I keep different species of roaches together, or will they eat each other?

I have discoids that i'm working a colony on and I can't wait for them to take off. I think they are one of your best feeders.

What are the least smelly species of roaches that are a good feeder for BD's? I'm maybe looking for a smaller speices that doesn't fly, would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Eric

the roaches themselves dont really smell. The big factor is the food. letting food rot in the cage stinks. Too much humidity will make things smell too especially if you use a substrate. If you clean the tub often, you wont have a problem.
Samller species like lobsters are ok if you are raising a lot of babies but you will need a lot to feed juvies and adults since they are not much bigger than crix. I like blaberus the best. Many different types of roaches have wings but that does not mean they "fly". Most often wings are used to flutter if they fall.
