Where does everyone get their water dishes for their snakes?

gone_balls_crazy Jan 19, 2005 11:53 PM

All of the ones I use spill over after about 1 hour. Thanks for your help!

small cat litter pans and large dog dishes have worked great for my balls.

Go to SupperPets or PetSmart and buy some ceramic water bowles. They are heavy enough to not tip over and don't have a lip for your snakes coils to catch on when they're rounding second... Sean M. Kelly

Wal-Mart. Pet section. Plastic water bowl.

The ones with a hollow bottom by "Van Ness." The smaller ones also sell at Target. My snakes love them as a hidespot as well as water dish. They're cheap and easy to clean, and come in some nice large sizes that even my 2000g female ball can happily fit under, and they even go larger than that.

For my hatchlings I use the small ceramic bowls that I pic up at dollar stores or the grocery store for 2 for a $1, they are heavy and low so they can't tip them. For the big guys I use the dog water dishes that are hollow around the bottom edge. Haven't had any trouble with tipping.
