Red eye tree frog - Question

What country or countries in Central America does the majority of captivity red eyes origin from?

Central America. The most commonly bred in captivity are those from the northern range...southern mexico to Honduras. The frogs southward to Panama are considered by some to be more colorful...the northern blue colors on the sides are more of a deep purple in these specimens. Most southern varieties are imported and don't fair well in captive breeding programs. Red eyes are still beautiful no matter where they come from! There are some Red eye tree frogs (litoria sp.) in Australia that are not available outside of the continent as far as I know...
