jeph Jan 20, 2005 04:22 AM

Hi,
Heres my male Bauble Line pyro. This pic was taken before brumation. I'm really hoping to see some nice babys from him and my female bauble line female #1-(they gave me 4 eggs in '04 but they were infertile, he did though breed with my sentz hypo female for her 2nd clutch),anyways, this is a close up pic,I'll post a full body one next and then the females too.Enjoy the pics hopefully..?,

Hi,
Heres the full body shot of the male. He has an almost pure white lateral stripe running the whole length of his body.It would be nice to get some of this line bred into the applegates and work towards producing an applegate phase pyro with white bands wider than the red-orange bands-that would be really neat looking.

Hi,
Heres my female baubale line #1. I cant wait to see the babys from her and the male posted above. In person this snake compared to the male is much more orange in color-(actually, both my females are alot more orange colored than the male, hes more of a deep red) but this is one of my favorite pyros. Thanks for looking,

Cool snakes Jeff. I'd be interested in seeing what you produce this year. I'm going to streamline my pyro collection to just one locale. Come check out the Az Mtn King sub-forum, it's a lonely place!

I purchased this less expensive female baby pyro in 2001, from Chris to breed with my large male pyro I had pick up at a pet shop. I bred in 04, and she had 5 nice offspring, 2 which are future breeders.
I'll post pictures of her mate and a few offspring below. The offspring hatched with yellow tinted bands instead of white,

bands all look good on these two, no black running together, not that it matters, I have some nice ones where it did like the father.

Quite possibly the coolest pyro I've ever seen!

Is that a natural pattern or is it line bred or recessive ?

Hey Kieth,
Chris Bauble has been breeding them for years and years. They are from the Santa Ritas-(where his original stock came from) but he has produced some of the best looking normal pyros in my opinion. I love how much white comes out on them. If you take a look at his site-(its on the breeder index list on the main page of kingsnake.com,artistic investments is the site name) he has a female that was produced in '99, and its so neat looking, so much white in it. Anyways, so they are basically a line bred tarit, I mean they are from a certain mtn.range which does make them santa rita mtns locale, but I think thye are more known as Chris Bauble pyros..?,anyways thanks for your time,

yeah i agree! chris has some of the nicest "normal" pyros around...hes been producing them since the mid 80's? think hes on F4 or F5's i believe...ive seen all his breeders and man some are just SCREAMERS! another thing is his pyros have a great feeding response and GROW super fast...
