Gravid Borneo Pic

Rich_Crowley Jan 20, 2005 08:22 AM

This sweet 'little' girl is loaded again this year and I hope I fixed my problems with fertility. She usually lays around 20 eggs so I hope to get a nice sizable....fertile....clutch.

I also hope that this clutch includes some of the unusual offspring previously demonstrated and that they survive this time!

More pics to follow as this breeding progresses.

Good luck with everyone in their breeding.

Best of luck with her this year and any other breedings you may be doing, also best of luck to everyone else out there with bloods, I know I will be looking for a few bloods and stp's this year. I hope we can get another good looking clutch from our borneo's this year as well.

Hey Rich,
Nice going with this girl! she looks like she's pretty full. What have you done to correct any infertility problems with her? (Temperature adjustments during cooling or other).

I would love to say, but until I actually get the eggs and confirm fertility it is too early to say whether my adjustments helped. One thing I did do related to temperature. Once I get the eggs, I will share my results and what I did to get them.

I am also testing out the timing of the male. This is just one female I was working with, I also had two more pairs with different techniques to determine what works and what doesn't.

Gorgeous Borneo Rich! Hope she throws some nice fertile eggs. I remember seeing the ones that didn't make it last season, what a shame.
