My Newest Kingsnake....Eastern.....

HerperHelmz Jan 20, 2005 02:29 PM

I'm not sure on the locale, and the dude that sold it to me never did tell me, which was actually the first question I asked him when I contacted him. Any thoughts or ideas on locale are welcome....
This snake is a female, unscented pinky eater, to go along with the nice looking male I am buying off of Will Still.

Greetings...
I wasnt supposed to snitch Mike off, but he bought those tasty getulas as feeders!!
On a serious note tho...is anyone producing those drop dead gorgeous yellow specks that appear to be found around Houston Tx.???
Saludos... RxR

lol, yeah, you caught me, I always spend close to $200 on two feeder snakes. I don't even have any snakes that eat snakes as of now lol, my kingsnake doesn't like eating snakes, so I prefer to feed it mice.

Got my fingers crossed for a regal though.

Georgia. I found quite a few similar to that between Brunswick, Ga. and Savannah GA. near the coast and some of the inland counties as well, (back in the eighties when I lived there).
Usual appearance: Low band count (avg. 17-25), some chain-like pattern, medium to thin bands, white or creamy white band color on a dark brown to black background.
Nice looking little girl though!

I told Mike in an email as he asked me what I thought yesterday about the locale of that animal and I said S. Carolina as well. Too funny I guess we are on the same Eastern King wave length!

I guess that should at least narrow it down (in MY opinion), LOL!
BTW: How big are your Columbia county kings? My 04' male is now 20.25", and he's a relentless eater!!!

Ah ! 20" ! Mine is only 17.52" but he isnt a robust eater. He will only eat when the lights off and there is no disturbances. The female is the same way. They are growing nicely and are getting less skittish as they get older though. Hey take a pic of that 20" male you have I would like to see him.

Currently in the "blue" and nice & thick body! He eats even though he's blue! Never turns down a meal. Didn't plan on keeping him, but I did get stuck with him because nobody has wanted him yet, LOL!
