Turnip Greens?

avatar Jan 20, 2005 03:10 PM

Do any fellow Uromastyx owners in the vicinity of Portland, Oregon know of a source for turnip greens? I would like to add them to my Uro's diet, but I can't seem to find them anywhere, and I don't have the option of growing my own because I live in the mountains. Thanks!

Any Safeway grocery stores up there? They should have them.

Good luck

Just bought them at Schnuck's Grocery (St. Louis) for $.69 a one pound bunch.

It must be a regional thing - I lived in Salem OR for 4 years and only found turnip greens ONCE at a health food store, and I go greens shopping all over town. Only certain places carry certain greens, so I knew where to go for what. I just moved back to Eugene, so I'm hopeful there will be more available here.
