I didn't see them, but that doesn't mean anything. This "new" bill is just a rewritten version of the old one, and is still as open-doored as ever.
While IMHO, I don't think the average person should own half of what is on that list, I also have to look at the other side. If these species are banned or have to be "licensed" then its open game for DFW to point fingers at people for various things, not to mention overcharging for the licenses.
Unfortunately, not everything can be done perfectly. Such is human nature. I'm sitting here, watching my town turn into a wasteland full of houses and I can't do squat about it. *sigh*
I'm sending my thoughts in a letter along with a representative from the Pacific NW Herp Society, since I can't be there in person to talk due to work. I'm not good at public speaking anyway.
