I have just recieved word that iowa is attempting to pass a bill to ban a list of species of reptiles, from what i have heard its close to the new york law that was passed, i will post the bill and information as soon as i can on here and the iowa herp society website www.iaherp.org

I received a frantic call today from a friend, so I searched Iowa legislature. All I found was Senate Study Bill 2099.

The bill would ban venomous snakes, constrictors over 12 feet, crocs and alligators, and gila monsters.

Is there more to it than what I found?
