Question on offgassing situation....

crtoon83 Jan 20, 2005 05:36 PM

I got my cages painted/polycrylic'd about a month ago, yet today i just finished the doors. they're 1 1/2" wide, and i was wondering do i need to wait 2 weeks for these to offgas as well before i put my snakes in there, or is this such a minimal amount that it wont matter? I'm leanin towards 2 weeks. Also, if i brought these doors upstairs and put them on the cages, will they be a threat to my snakes currently in the room?

thanks,
chris

I would suggest going with your first instinct and let them offgas in the shop. Why take the on even the remote chance of harming your animals.
