A couple of pics just for fun (reduced pair breeding plus an excpetional hatchling)

JP Jan 20, 2005 06:19 PM

Just wanted to run out a couple of new pictures. I just can't learn quite how to take really good pics. I have a quality camera, but little know how. Anyway, here are some new pictures.

The first is a picture of a hatchling from last year from my WC axanthic project (Mark S. - This is a sibling to the pair I sent you...#5 if you remember). This little male has the coolest coloration...kinda has a two-toned appearance in his golden areas.

The next picture is of my reduced pair breeding. Both are virgins, with the female ('02) being around 1800 grams and the male(03) around 900....man I hope she takes!

Enjoy the pics, and let me know what you think.....

It's nice seeing how the siblings are turning out. The two I got from you are doing well and hardly ever miss a meal, they are some of the best feeders I picked up last year. I'll try to get some pictures of them one of these days. Maybe this weekend if I have the time.

I'm glad they are doing so well for you. Still on mice? I'm going over to weaned/small rats nest feeding. The little one that was initially reluctant to feed finally caught on and is catching up fast. Can't wait to see the pictures. My wife really loves to keep up with the babies we send out. She'd get a kick out of it too.

On another note, we'll be hatching out soething entirely different this season....a hairless mammal with two arms and two legs. A very exciting time come this June. Man, I'm a basket case waiting 8 weeks for eggs to hatch....this nine month deal is starting to wear on me...LOL.

Anyway, one last BP picture to sorta keep on topic. Just a decent pic of one of my breeder males...have fun.

Very nice pair you got there. Best of Luck with them. Please let us know if you get anything different or more of the same like the parents.

GOD Bless
