painting room , hurt snakes?

im painting my basement and my snkaes are down there...its water based paint, do i need to move the snakes from that room or will they be ok? Answer ASAP!! Thanks

if possible i would remove the snakes from the basement until the fumes clear out a lot. i know you need to let the paint completely offgas when painting a cage or whatnot, but since they're not going to be directly exposed to it, it wont be anywhere near as intense. i'd just air out the basement as much as possible until just very little smell remains, then put ur snakes back down there. just to be safe.
