What should some one look for in feeder breeders ( Hey it rhymes *lol* ) ... is it alright to buy feeder mice from the pet store ? or should i go high quality and get the fancy mice that they sell for pets ?

I think you should get the lab mice/rats that they sell at pet stores as feeders. I bought a whole lot of fancy mice to be breeders, and all they ever did was eat the babies, while the lab mice were really good mothers. Also the lab mice usually have less fur, which is good since snakes dont digest it anyway.

I personally tend to go for the spotted mice, rather than the pure white ones, but that's just personal preference. Out of multi-colored mice, you can get pure white, dark, or spotted babies, so any picky eater you might have might find something that appeals. <G>
I would think the best thing to look for is a very calm and docile personality.
