Hi all,
I'm planning on starting a dart frog terrarium sometime in the future, and I've found very little guidance on the issue of lighting. The tank in question is a standard 29 gallon (18" tall, but with false bottom and substrate will likely be closer to 13" usable area).
I'd like to be able to plant live moss, ferns, some of the smaller bromeliads, and perhaps a flytrap or some other carnivorous plant (is this even safe for the frogs?). From what I've read, the flytrap and mosses will need higher light than other plants. From AH Supply, I have the choice of a 1x55watt compact flourescent kit, or a 2x55watt kit - any recommendations on which would be best for this tank?
