my friend said its illegal in the US to sell and own poison arrow frogs... i told him i dont think thats true b/c so many own them and there are places that sell them... are they illegal in the US?

If you Google the C.I.T.E.S website you will get legal info on exporting/importing of animals ( Darts included ) on the CITES list. There are individual city/state/ district laws regarding endangered species. I would say that the quick and easy answer is; If they have been legally processed through the F W upon being imported into the country , they will be legal in most ( not all) cites in the U.S.
