my bf found a little clump of eggs on a piece of bark... they werent in water so are they going to be ok on the bark? he has them in a tank but theyre not in water... just near water... the eggs are extremely tiny and white with a dark spot inside... not really any sack w/ them... so im sure that its pretty hard to figure out what kind of amphibian laid them... but im just hoping the eggs will be ok... he has them in a tank w/ a light over them and there are a couple of sali larvae in the water... is this ok?

I don't think I understand the post, where did he find the eggs in the amphibian tank or just outside.

he found the eggs outside on a piece of bark and they are now inside the tank...

Well if they are frog eggs, it's good that their in the tank with heat, almost any kind of egg needs heat to develope, so you did the right thing. If it's tree frog eggs I don't think it's suppose to be in the water just near it so when the tadpoles come out they can fall right into the water. But if it's toad eggs it should be in the water. This might not help at all, but its all i could come up with.

What locality are we talking about here? I assume it is some type of caudate if it is an amphibian. I have also seen spider eggs fit that desription.
