housing for a beginner

apollosdad42 Jan 20, 2005 11:44 PM

I am going to be getting three beardies in the next week or so. I want to find out a few things about caging. How big should it be? I've heard they like to dig. If so, how deep and what should I use for substrate. Finally, do these guys scratch up plexiglass a lot, or do I have to go for real glass?
Thanks.

The question should be "how big should they be?", three tanks for three beardies.

I started by female in a 20 gallon long, now she lives all alone in a mansion, 4x2x2.

Unless you are getting a trio of confirmed females, separate housing is the only way to go.
