Ovulation!!!!!!!!!!!

BRownsBoas Jan 21, 2005 09:07 AM

I had a female Het. Albino Ovulate on 1-18-2005 just thought some of you new guys would be interested in seeing! You can't see enough of them to begin to understand what they look like, but once you've seen one you will never forget! This girl was bred by a albino het for snow that was produced by Frank Martin!

I got a few questions to try to find a pattern with other breeders.
When did you introduce the male? and do you know how long it took from introduction to ovulation? Also when you get a chance can you post a week after ovulation?
Thanks
Want ot see a few things....in comparison to my breeders.

I introduced the male to this female in the middle of October. There was no courting for about three weeks after introduction. If I don't see any action within 3 days I usually pull the male and wait a week! After about six weeks of cycling this female became reseptive to the male and courting was observed. They bred for two and a half months and around the 12th of January courting had stopped. I had not witnessed a stopage in breeding for any longer than two days so the pair remained together except for a once a month feeding. After all breeding action had ceased I seperated the female to a new cage that was not being cycled and on 1-18-2005 the female ovulated after about 24 hours the female for the most part had thined back out but you can still see a slight bulge, but nothing near as big as the actual ovulation! Copulation between this pair was witnessed and photographed at least 4 times! This is how I have gotten to this point and it seemed to work! My female appears to be going into a her POS now! Now I just have a some praying to do!
