Why would you cross a Gaigeae with a corn?....

BobS Jan 21, 2005 02:38 PM

I just took a quick look at a forum I usually never visit and found someone inquiring about crossing a Gaigeae with a corn. You have a right to do whatever you want with your animals and I don't want to have anything to do with dictating how other people should feel about things.I also don't want to offend anyone. I just can't for the life of me understand why you want to "ruin" a beautiful animal like a Black milk or a subtle beauty like a nomral corn.

I can certainly, to a degree aprreciate the novelty of amelanistics and leucistics.

You can paint your front door black,tattoo/peirce every part of your body. Like any music you want. Vote or not vote for whoever. drive whatever sporty, Suv whatever....

But I have a hard time getting around Hybrids. seems like it makes me feel like when people tag other peoples private property with their name or whatever... I guess some people see it as an art form. Don't want to start a fight. And I maintain your businness is your bussinesss. And I apologize in advance for inadvertently offending any one. Just don't get it....

Where curiosity overcomes restraint. All it takes is a little bit of idle brain time for someone to go "Hmmm, I like the colors on this guy, and the size of that girl, I wonder if I cross the 2 if I'll get a baby with those colors and that size". If the species will actually produce, theres not much else other than conscience that will stop them from going further. I have a bubblegum rat, which is a 3way cross, so I really dont have too much of a soapbox to stand on, but at least it's all "ratsnakes" mixed together. Crossing a corn with a gopher makes MUCH less sense to me. I too, do not get it.
