weird rippling in female henkeli's tail

umop_apisdn Jan 21, 2005 04:16 PM

well its not like the tail is folding or curling, its more like rippling in the skin flaps perpendicular to the direction of the tail. once i get my camera back ill try to take some pics, but it's not dehydration is it? i mist her regularly, and she has a fountain running all the time which she drinks out of.

I have a male whos tail does this and it is not a reason for concern... I think its rather neat actually... but i would only worry about deydration if the tail is curling under on the edges...

yea, it makes it look more leafy id say, but her tail is definitely otherwise solid. she's fat as can be!

Mine do the same thing. Thats weird. The male looks up opens his mouth and drinks but the female just licks her face.
