I've heard alot of people say they would rather have cool mist than hot?

I've always thought of hot mist to be better because of the humidity level increases more with hot? I dunno, just wondering.

I think people are thinking along the lines of hot being a breeding ground for bacteria.

HOT MIST will trigger the drinking mode of most chams. COLD MIST will make them run from it. Remember, chams come from warm regions, they dont usually get COLD MIST or COLD RAIN. HOT MIST ends up being warm water when it gets to the chams. The air will cool it so, as long as it's mist and not WATER STREAMS, hot is better.

I prefer to use the cold mist ultrasonic humidifier ONLY to raise the humidity in the Chameleon enclosures as the hot mist will harbor more Bacteria than that of the cold mist
I dont use the USHumidfier to stimulate drinking I use an Automatic Mister for that or a pump sprayer
