New pic of my reduced black Thayeri from my Vivid Line...

jlassiter Jan 21, 2005 08:50 PM

This girl is an '03 and is huge for her age. She is the fastest growing Thayeri I have and could have bred this year, but I am waiting until next. Let me know what you guys think of her. I think she is awesome.

Here is a male I got from Chris' Colubrids. I love the reduced black and multicolored saddles.

Jim,
Are you breeding Thayeri and Greeri this year? How many clutches to you expect from each?
Thanks,
John Lassiter

JimH Jan 24, 2005 05:15 PM

Unfortunately, my greeri girls are a couple of years away for breeding. However, all of the thayeri will be ready to go this year. Except for the leonis phase I picked up from Dan Vermilya a couple of years ago, the rest of the bunch I have no idea what their lineage is. I hope someone throws a melanistic morph but that's probably dreaming. Breeding thayeri is like what Forrest Gump said about chocolates" you never know what your gonna get.".
Best...

Jim,
Keep us posted on what hatches out for you this year.
Yes "like a box of Choc-o-lates."
X-mas in the summer.

jlassiter Jan 23, 2005 02:38 PM

Mike,
This is an older sibling (same parents) to the one you guys got from me. How is that girl doing by the way. Your males are eating like pigs.
