Is it odd to you? Or is just me? I find it so weird that I find posts that give a detailed list of what animals the person owns in their signature. What is this used for? Does this give the person posting more validity on what they say? It is cool to see what others have in their collection, but why add it to every post.

I guess its like this, You kinda want other viewers to know what kind of ball pythons or snakes your messing with. I did it because everyone else was doing it...LOL...and YES if everyone else jumped off a bridge I would to...LOL... By the way you post some very nice snakes on kingsnake. A lot of people post everything they own. I didn't I just posted Most of the Ball pythons I own since this is a Ball python forum. Hope that helps you understand..... thanks DAVID

Naw, I have been accused of it being anything from a passion to "obsession." I really don't see their point...I only have 16 BPs and one BRB. Of course if I had the money, yeah I would have about a hundred LOL

Just a thought,when you post all of your high end morphs you could be setting yourself up for a break-in,the internet scammers could go to the next level of stealing.If one posts his animals to show expertise,well it does show they have the money to buy not produce.on the lighter side if everyone were the same we wouldnt have anything to talk about.T

I like doing it so that people know what I have. Just kinda an extra little thing that people can read if they feel like it.

Since a lot of people add their husband, wife, kids, cats, and dogs, I figured it is a way to try to connect with others who have similar interests and situations. And of course, people are proud of their pets and families.

Since I mostly frequent the cornsnake forum, I hadn't thought about listing high end animals being an invitation for burglary, but that idea may have some validity to those with expensive pets.

Sorry about my multiple posts, I thought my puter froze up and hit it more than once I guess.....Arrgghhh, will I ever evolve with the technolgy these days?

it just as youve read from other posts it just a way to show off your animals. noone gets tired of showing off their pics of them. and none gets tired of loking at them.

There is also some people that dont have a website so they just list what they got. you have your e mail and website posted in your sig on every post. is that really neccasary..no. its just a way for you to interact with others on here.
and yes sometimes sad to say it does add some validity..even though some people could make up their list. alot of people on here might try and label you as a beginner with no right to add input on here. with your list it shows hey this isnt my first snake. Usually once someone is well known on here they dont feel it neccarsary to post their list.
