Let me know what you think

the tank will be 72"X24"X 16" or 14"

the tanks will be made under my bed with a total of four cages. The rweason under the bed is to save room. the heat lamps will be enclosed in the enclosures with a wood divder in between. with air holes so the extra heat can go in to the tank. There will be a extra foot off the end to house teh tow other heatlamps.

I just need ideas on what to use for wood or whatever let me knwo what you all think.

thanks Chris

Your cage idea is good, however it is not original. I have seen this type of cage in the classifieds before, and I have heard of people using them for years. I can't recall who makes them, but they are out there. I am not sure, but your sketch seems to show a bed just sitting on top of the cage on a normal bed frame. I would build this cage using more of a water bed frame look in mind. Personally, I like the water bed frame look better, but that is just me. I would suggest you scratch the heat lamp idea and go with something like under tank heaters, radiant heat panels, heat tape, etc. You would have too much trouble with space/heat/ventilation issues if you used heat lamps. You can just use fluorescents for light/UV. I am sure you will get other replies with more detailed ideas, so I won't bother with more details. By the way, what is this cage going to house? Hope this helps, Jrbl
