I was wondering if anyone has, or knows where I can get, blue phase green anoles. Thanks,
Kathy

When you are looking for Blue-Phased green Anoles, remember a few things:

- Blue-phased green Anoles are still just green Anoles, so their care is the same.
- A lot of stores/people will sell something they'll call a blue Anole, which often turns out to be a completely different species, meaning it's not a blue phased Anolis carolinensis.
- Look out for "Adobe bloodline" blue Anoles. Using Photoshop, it's a very easy to manipulate a photo of a green Anole to make it look like a blue one. Be mindful, especially if someone miraculously happens to have what you're looking for.
- When you search, search for "Axanthic green Anoles," not blue-phased Anoles. If the person doesn't know what you're talking about, they obviously aren't knowledgeable and therefore probably shouldn't be breeding.

Your best bet would be to attend an expo, or breeder's show. The care for such a lizard would be the same as a normal green Anole. Feel free to review my Anole care guide, link below, and read the "How many to get" page along with the "Population control" page in case you plan on mixing it with anything else.
