Hi, I have a question about Mazuri. Exactly what is it? I've seen a lot of questions about it on here, but I've never heard of it otherwise. Should I consider giving some to my red foot? What are the benefits? Are there any cons?
Thanks!

OK, that's a lie. To get the straight story on it go directly to their website www.mazuri.com.
The tortoise chow that they produce makes a nice supplement but I feed it sparingly. Others feed it fairly heavily and also get good results.

You very rarely will get the "straight story" about a product from the people who make that product. They give you THEIR story which is designed to sell sell sell!

I use it for my redfoots and they love it! Like with any commercial food, I don't use it regularly and I'll sometimes mix it with fresh foods too. It is best used if soaked in water for a few minutes.
My box turtles eat it occasionally too, but my sulcata doesn't eat it.
