warmer water. My vet advises that i soak my snakes at water nearing 95-100degrees. Which, according to him, isnt as hot it sounds. We bathe in water much hotter than that he says. He says to have the water feel like what you would bathe a baby in or a little hotter.

Soak them in a contanior with a lid and lots of air holes, and always keep an eye on them and if they appear too stressed out remove them immediately.

I use a tub w/lid and put a heating pad under and a prob into the water to monitor the water temp at ALL times.
I let them soak for 30-45 mins a time. If the snake has a bad shed invest in a bottle of shed ease..it will help.

I may be completely wrong about this, but over the years I've heard that if a snake needs to bathe, the snake will bathe without additional coaxing needed. Forcing a snake or "giving him a bath" to help him shed may actually dehydrate him, not to mention the stress it puts on him. Again, I've heard this a couple of times so I can't be sure that this is correct or not but it's something to consider.

I know you recently got the snake and she may have just been stressed last time, which may be why she shed wrong amoung other possible factors. Before forcing her into a bath, you may want to consider raising the humditiy in her cage up to about 75%, and let nature take it's course. If you stress out on one or two bad sheds, you may continue to stress her out thus causing her more bad sheds. Try to give her good humidity options, water dishes, a humid hide, raising humididty in the cage and leave her be. If she sheds bad this time, use the pillow case method to help her finish, and try again next time. Remember that the more interaction you have with her the more she's going to stress and the harder her "natural processes" will be. It's just how balls are designed.
