Could someone help me with a day by day diet for what they feed a yearling red tegu? I have two which are just waking up and i wanted to be able to have a set scheduled diet for them to eat..They are about 15-17 inches from snout to vent...Right now they are eating about 2-3 adult mice a day and then fruit (pineapple and oranges and grapes and strawberries) every other day although they dont always eat it... I just wanted something to print out with a Monday-Sunday feed chart...

Assorted fruit daily
mon-roach/silkie or rodent
tue-egg
wed-fruit only
thur-turkey
fri-roach/silkie or rodent
Sat-fruit only
Sun-turkey

This is just one type of schedule, your tegus needs and tastes may vary. You will need to play with quantities of food to get them right for your Tegu.

Thank You so much.. that really helps... I wasnt sure if i was trying to give them toooo much fruit but seeming as they only eat little bits of it i would offer it every other day but i will try you diet and hope it works... thank you so much for the input
